Adopt a cat
The cats shown on the website are just a few of the many that we have in care at any one time. On the 27 August 2010 we have 58 cats and kittens in care, many of whom are ready to go to new homes. The kitten season has now arrived with a vengeance after a slow start due to cold winter when cats were staying in. Currently we have lots of kittens and more to be born soon as we have mums to be in care.
All of our cats are vet checked, de-flead, wormed, vaccinated and where appropriate neutered or spayed. Kittens are always homed in pairs as this has proved to give them a better quality of life.
Lizzie and Jess
Mum and daughter, three and two years old, these striking torties will bring life and soul into some lucky person’s home.
Jazz and Tosca
Sister and brother, one and a half years old, these two youngsters need plenty of cuddles, play sessions and interaction. Would suit a young family.
Kittens galore
Just a few of the many adorable kittens we have looking for that perfect home.
Tricksie and Scamp
Mum and daughter, two and one years old, these cats play together and lick each other’s faces in affection. They are boisterous in their game-playing and are friendly with people and dogs. Would suit a young family home with well behaved dogs, cats and children.
Lily
Lily is sylph part oriental two year old blue and white girl with a hint of the exotic. Having raised a family of kittens through much hardship this deserving cat will enjoy a caring home where she is the centre of attention.

Tucker and Muffin
Dad and daughter, two and one year old, these two appreciate each others company. Tucker is affectionate and playful while dear Muffin is still timid, having had a rough start in life. They would benefit from an adult home and garden space.
Raja and Saffie
Raja and Saffie compliment each other with their black and gold coloration, also they adore each others company. Raja is confident, friendly and playful. Poor Saffie has known bad times with people and still sometimes shows her resentment and mistrust. However she is gaining reassurance with Raja at her side. Raja is three years old and Saffie is one year. Both are used to living with other cats. An adult home would best suit them due to Saffie’s shy temperament.
Magnum and Pepper
Our long term resident who has captured everyone’s heart but not found a home as yet and is still waiting for those special people, four year Magnum has paired up with one year old Pepper. Though Magnum only has one eye his remaining sight is good and the two lads love to play together. Both are extremely affectionate and trusting thus require a safe attentive home where no harm could disrupt their angelic natures. They are used to other cat company and kind handling.
Joey and working cats
Joey was dicing with death before coming into our care. he had been a street living cat, petrified of his own shadow, emaciated and anaemic. Though still not trusting enough to be stroked he is a now a healthy and handsome boy with a desire for more in life. Approx four years old Joey is used to living with other cats and would enjoy a rural home.
Lucky
Lucky is now fully recovered after a massive operation (photographs taken three days after). Lucky was not so lucky when he broke his leg badly in a road traffic accident and had to drag himself onto the doorstep of someone’s house. By this time, possibly days after the accident had occurred his wound was gangrenous and infested with maggots.
Swift veterinary action of a caring vet saved his life, but not his shattered and decomposed hind leg. No owner came to claim poor lucky who had been left un-neutered, thus the lure to wander was greater. He was christened lucky when his amputation proved to be a success, had been castrated, wormed, de-flead and vaccinated.
His grateful and affectionate nature won the heart of the veterinary nurse who had been caring for him through his recovery. He is now comfortably in her home as one of the family.
Roads are potentially dangerous to any cat – un-neutered cats will wander further when looking for mates and one must always keep cats inside your home at night-time for their safety.
